Jordan’s Point Light on the James River Prince George County, Virginia

The lighthouse at Jordan’s Point stood watch over the James River in

Prince George County for over a hundred years. Hatch has captured the

essence of the "Point" during those years, a navigational necessity to the

river travelers and home to the tender and his family. The light and the home

no longer stand, having been lost to time and progress, but Hatch’s sensitive

capture of the River landmark ensures its existence into perpetuity.
