John J. Buyalos

Prior to entering the service Corporal Buyalos worked as a shipping clerk for Morris Gates Co. in Petersburg.

Cpl. Buyalos’ family immigrated from Hungary in the late 1890’s. At the time of his death, he was survived by his parents Michael and Mary Buyalos and his siblings, Michael, Ann, George, Stephen, Thomas and Mary.

Interment: Meuse-Argonne American Cemetery, Romagne, France
