Welcome to The Prince George County Regional Heritage Center
The Center complex is in the historic Prince George County Courthouse that has stood at the center of the County since 1883. Step into a timeline of the County’s story that begins before human habitation and continues to travel from life in the colonies to today’s major industry and business thrust. Experience exhibits, uncover ancestral roots, and enjoy artifacts that are sure to enhance the story of this land and its people. As operations fully resume and our recovery from the pandemic takes place, the complex will once again expand to include a natural history gallery and the historic old jail building. The latter is being restored to tell the story of the County’s fire and emergency crew volunteers- men and women who laid a strong foundation for today’s emergency services. The Center is a unique place to visit and you are encouraged to explore it time and time again. Admission is always free of charge.
Event will move indoors, second floor, old courthouse. An elevator is available if you don't like stairs.
